His intervention at the conference
Thibaut will take part in the panel Shaping public policies for movement, dedicated to actions at the federal, cantonal, and local levels that aim to make physical activity a true pillar of public health.
Head of projects for the Cantonal Action Program of Promotion Santé Valais
Thibaut Matti holds a Master’s degree in Sport Sciences and currently works as a Project Manager at Promotion Santé Valais, where he is specifically responsible for the cantonal action program “Agir pour sa santé” (“Act for Your Health”).
Driven by the conviction that sport should be accessible to everyone, his work focuses on creating environments that encourage physical activity. He collaborates with municipalities, schools, childcare facilities, sports associations, and cantonal institutions to promote movement as an integral part of daily life.
Through program coordination, project development, and the facilitation of multidisciplinary networks, Thibaut seeks to build bridges between public policies and on-the-ground initiatives, ensuring that each project has a lasting impact on the health and well-being of Valais residents.
In parallel, Thibaut also serves as the regional lead for the 1418 Coachs program in French-speaking Valais and as a sports coach for athletes. These complementary roles constantly remind him that the success of any policy or project relies above all on people, teamwork, and motivation.
