He will share his experience through concrete initiatives such as his mobility workshops for hospitalized patients and rehabilitation programs for people with chronic illnesses. Thibault Devaud is an exercise specialist at the Fribourg Hospital (HFR), specialized in Adapted Physical Activity (APA). He studied prevention and health promotion at the University of Basel and earned a Master\u2019s degree in Sport and Movement Sciences, with a focus on Health & Research, from the University of Fribourg.<\/p>

His career has led him to work at the intersection of health and athletic performance, both in hospital settings and in collaboration with sports clubs and federations. His work addresses a wide audience, ranging from patients with chronic conditions to athletes seeking to optimize their performance. At HFR, he leads adapted physical activity groups, supports rehabilitation and the return to movement after treatment or illness, and participates in various prevention and health promotion programs. He also conducts exercise testing (treadmill, cycling, swimming) and designs individualized training programs tailored to each person\u2019s needs.<\/p>

Passionate about the connection between medicine, movement, and performance, he focuses particularly on physiological evaluation, exercise-based rehabilitation, and physical fitness optimization for diverse populations. His career has also included collaborations with Swiss Cycling on several sports development projects in Switzerland.<\/p>
