Dr Severin P\u00f6chtrager is a senior physician specialising in internal medicine at Arlesheim Clinic in Basel-Landschaft and also serves as the president of the Swiss Hospital at Home Society.<\/p>

He studied medicine in Vienna and completed his training in general internal medicine at the Kantonsspital Baselland, the Arlesheim Clinic and other hospitals in Austria.<\/p>

Dr P\u00f6chtrager is a co-founder of the Arlesheim Academy for Anthroposophic Medicine, which is dedicated to integrating holistic principles into medical education and practice. Driven by a commitment to transforming healthcare, he initiated the Hospital at Home programme at the Arlesheim Clinic, which provides acute care services in patients' homes, reflecting a growing movement towards patient-centred models of care.<\/p>

As part of his transformative work, Dr P\u00f6chtrager is also a Loop Fellow, a programme focused on building effective frameworks for organisational change in healthcare. He also co-founded Hospitales, an association that provides operational support to hospitals in implementing hospital-at-home services, helping them to adopt innovative care models that improve patient outcomes.<\/p>
